Talking Pictures

Talking Pictures is an exhibition by Nicholas Ferenczy, now in the Millennium Gallery at Nantwich Museum and to run until Saturday 25 March. Encompassing paintings, drawing and prints the exhibition explores the collisions of image and text. Entry to the museum and exhibition is free.

Briefing for Wingate Cycling Challenge

The Wingate Centre, Wrenbury Hall Drive, Wrenbury, Nantwich, CW5 8EJ.

Initial briefing at 6:30pm at The Wingate Centre for an event taking place on 24th and 25th of June. The Wingate Centre is looking for 12 cyclists to take part in a cycle relay fundraiser from Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium, along a 230 mile route to Chester.  Full professional support and training will be on offer.  In addition to the training and the challenge itself, the Wingate Centre is asking each rider to raise a minimum of £1,000 which will go towards providing residential holidays for children with disabilities. Time: 6:30 pm. All welcome.

As part of the Talking Pictures Exhibition at Nantwich Museum, Nicholas Ferenczy, there will be an audio-visual reading performance with projections of illustrations from Nicholas' collection of poems "Oscar the Pike" based on experiences of growing up and living in the North-West.
